So, who am I and what do I do?
Until sometime in October 2003 my name was Diane S.K.H. Willms, when it was changed to Diane S.K.H. Frehsee during a 30-minute ceremony at the end of which I had to kiss a handsome man and sign my life over to him... photographic evidence of this event can be found elsewhere on this website, should you be interested.

As mentioned earlier, my name is Diane. I'm old enough not to want to answer questions regarding my age and most days I couldn't tell you anyway as it has been years since the number of candles on my birthday cake was quantifiable without some huge second order differential equation...

Anyway, I've lived here and there, but spent about half of my life in Berlin. After completing school I moved to England to study for a Masters in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Manchester. During my time at university I undertook a three month ERASMUS exchange to Poitiers, France, and did two three-month internships in Munich, spending the rest of my time living in rainy Manchester. After graduation I worked in Birmingham, England, for just over a year before landing my current job in Frankfurt am Main.

So, where have I been?
As you have read above, I've been everywhere and nowhere. There are quite a few nifty places I have been, but by no means have I completed my travels. Any suggestions for places to visit are always welcome! Meanwhile, check out my photos...

And what would I enjoy doing, should I ever find the time...?
I guess I don't rightly know. University life left little time for anything else, I'm still haven't found anything to really replace the triple integrals, partial derivatives, Fourier transforms...

Any hobby suggestions are also welcome! Please keep in mind I'm not into pain and can already knit, sew, cross-stitch, embroider, crochet... For a closer look at some of my favourite past-times, check out the "Hobby" section.
